About the Journal

By the decision of the Interdepartmental Working Group established by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in accordance with the instructions of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. DCh-P8-60 pr dated 27.06.2022) on the formation and updating of the "White List" of scientific journals, the journal "Respublica Literaria" was included in the Russian part of the list (3rd level) on 09.09.2025.

On April 25, 2023, the journal was included in the LIST of peer-reviewed scientific publications (VAK), in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences and the degree of Doctor of Sciences in the following specialties must be published:

Quarterly scientific journal, established by The Institute of philosophy and law SB RAS in 2020. The journal provides a platform for the exchange of scientific information, the results of fundamental and empirical research by philosophers, sociologists and lawyers.

The main attention is paid to the presentation of current ideas in the field of philosophical knowledge in the analytical tradition, a new understanding of the modes of existence of philosophy and its history, the results of socio-philosophical, sociological and legal research of modern trends in the processes of social and state-legal development in Russia and abroad. The editorial policy of the journal is based on the traditional ethical principles of scientific periodicals developed by the Committee on publication Ethics (COPE) for editors, reviewers and authors. The editorial Board of the journal is guided by the principles of science, objectivity, professionalism, and impartiality.

The journal aims to promote active and effective communication within the scientific and professional community, and to create an interdisciplinary platform for open discussion. The journal does not accept for publication materials that contain less than 70% original text, as well as those that have signs of disguised borrowing generated by AI, do not correspond to the general thematic focus, contribute to the strengthening of interethnic and interfaith hostility, have a confrontational nature, and incite to the disharmonization of social relations, the blurring of ethical boundaries, including the permissibility of violence and cruelty. When articles of this kind are submitted, the editorial board reserves the right to refuse to accept them.

One of the journal's missions is to strengthen the intellectual space of Siberia and maintain the scientific schools of analytical philosophy, philosophical antiquity, and ethnosociology that have developed in the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

We are ready to cooperate with both Russian and foreign researchers, and strive to promote and disseminate the results of Russian authors in the international professional community.

The journal contains traditional sections: "Philosophy", "Sociology", "jurisprudence", "Reviews", "news", and may also include thematic collections.

Materials are published in the author's editorial office. The publication is free.

The editorial Board does not always share the opinions, positions, positions, and points of view expressed on the pages of the journal by the authors of publications.

The editorial Board is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any digital, illustrative, or cited materials in the publications of the journal's authors. This responsibility is solely borne by the authors of those publications in the text of which the relevant materials are contained.
