On the Way to Zenon’s Paradoxes: Closed and Semi-open Intervals

Zeno, closed and semi-open intervals, paradox, movement.Abstract
formulate a slightly modified version of Zeno's paradox Dichotomy and briefly consider the so-called Zeno objects (together with Thomson's lamp and Benacerraf's resolution of the Thomson lamp) to demonstrate the irrelevance of the distinction between closed and semi-open intervals for solving (or even posing) the problem of conceptualizing movement. Then I present objections to the Paradox of Oncoming Movement (formulated by Berestov).
