The purpose of the paper is to identify a socio-philosophical reinterpretation of Epicurus’ legacy as a model of microsocial organization relevant to the patriotic education of future generations. The novelty of the work lies in the interpretation of Epicurean small communities as mediators between the individual and society, fostering trust, solidarity, and responsible participation. In this context, patriotic education is understood as the formation of responsible subject of culture connected with language, historical memory, native place, family and local traditions. It is demonstrated that the key values of the Epicurean model can be implemented through educational projects, the study of local history, the preservation of family memory, volunteering, intergenerational dialogue, and the creation of digital archives.
