The Language Space as a Field of Intercultural Discussions

The article is based on the theoretical theses proposed by P. Bourdieu, including the conjugation of the process of state formation and the emergence of a single official language. Another source of information is legal regulations and census data. The third, but perhaps the most important part of the article is the materials of expert interviewing. Despite the diversity, geographical and historical remoteness of the sources, the commonality of their key points is shown.
