Abstract

This paper examines the main trends that characterize the trends of educational migration from Mongolia to Canada, as well as further employment prospects for Mongolian citizens in Canada. The study was based on data from international and national statistics of the United Nations, UNESCO, the Government of Canada, and others. Mongolian migrants in Canada are one of the fastest growing groups of foreign migrants. Currently, Canada is not a highly demanded destination for Mongolian citizens in terms of higher education, improving English language skills, but it has a fairly high potential in this regard. Educational migration from Mongolia to Canada is associated with further employment prospects and professional self-realization.
