The journal was established By the Institute of philosophy and law of the Siberian branch of the RUSSIAN Academy of Sciences in 2020.

By the decision of the Interdepartmental Working Group established by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in accordance with the instructions of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. DCh-P8-60 pr dated 27.06.2022) on the formation and updating of the "White List" of scientific journals, the journal "Respublica Literaria" was included in the Russian part of the list (3rd level) on 09.09.2025.
On April 25, 2023, the journal was included in the LIST of peer-reviewed scientific publications that must publish the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences and the degree of Doctor of Sciences in the following specialties:

EDITORIAL POLICY
The publication reviews all materials submitted to the editorial office that correspond to its subject matter, for the purpose of their expert evaluation. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have had publications on the subject of the reviewed article for the last 3 years. The reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the publication for 5 years.
The editorial board of the publication sends a reasoned decision on the results of the review to the authors of the submitted materials, and also undertakes to send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request by the editorial board of the publication.
The editorial board does not enter into discussions with the authors regarding the decision taken to refuse to accept the material for publication.
Materials submitted to the journal undergo initial selection for compliance with the following requirements:
-requirements for the design of the text and bibliographic references;
- the declared scientific directions of the publication (philosophy, sociology, law);
- they are checked by the Antiplagiat system (texts that are at least 75% new are accepted for publication).
In the case of passing the primary selection, the articles are sent for mandatory double-blind review. The review period is from 1 to 3 months.
The editorial board takes responsibility for preparing the article for publication, checking it with the Antiplagiat system, and ensuring fair review.
The decision to publish or reject materials submitted to the journal is made by the editorial board in accordance with the review procedure. The journal does not accept for publication materials that contain less than 70% original text, do not correspond to the general thematic focus, promote interethnic and interfaith hatred, have a confrontational nature, and incite to the disharmonization of social relations and the blurring of ethical boundaries, including the permissibility of violence and cruelty. In the event of such articles, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the materials.
Manuscripts rejected by the editorial board due to non-compliance with the formatting requirements are not reviewed.
By submitting an article to the editor,
- the author guarantees that it is not currently being considered for publication in another publication, has not been published on the Internet, and has not been published before
- confirms that the manuscript is an original work that does not contain elements of plagiarism and unfair borrowing
- must notify the editorial Board of any conflicts of interest
- must clearly indicate all sources used in their text.
it is responsible for the selection and accuracy of information contained in articles, citations, statistical and sociological data, etc.it
- must report any errors that it finds in its manuscript after publication.
- expresses its consent to its publication in the journal "Respublica literaria" and transfer the text of the article to third parties (double-blind review is mandatory) in the form of a contract.
